Album Notes

Thunder Rider has composed quite an extensive repertoire of songs based on the belief that a true attempt at originality and versatility will be their key to success.

The operatic vocal style, the soaring melodic and lightning guitar leads, the haunting orchestral keyboards, the angelic female back up vocals, accompanied by the thunderous combination of bass and drums, generate all the electricity required to power Thunder Rider.

Being a truly imaginative group, they have conceived a concept to rule their music, lyrics and stage show. At this time, this band of musicians is ready to take the world by storm.

Thunder Rider is currently experiencing global critical acclaim of their two recordings, Thunder Rider Tales of Darkness and Light - Debut and Chapter II, and is proud to be selling their music all over the world despite the fact that they are an independent and unsigned project.

Epic Classic
author: Daniel Cozzuol
This is one of the very few epic metal albums to come out of Canada. Other than Thunder Rider all we have here is Black Knight. This album is heavy, epic and crushing. Anyone into old school epic metal like Omen, Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road etc... will love this album. This is a forgotten classic, get it now!

In the glorious U.S. epic tradition
author: FRANCESCO DEMARCHI
Their sound is gothic heavy metal similar bands like Manilla Road, Warlord and Omen, but I hear also some classic 70's influnces. For example "For Christ's Sake" has a keyboard solo in the middle that sounds like something off a Rainbow or Deep Purple. The vocalist has a mid-range, epic clean style. The only criticism is the production because the drums are a bit loud and sound triggered, the vocals in the mix leaves the bass, keys and guitars in the background. These are faults of youth. Thunder Rider's masterpiece will arrives in 2004.
