Experimental, yet surprisingly accessible.

On Ifihadahifi, The Tickle throw standard song structures and time signatures out the window ... But for all the experimental and electronic elements, there’s an underlying pop sensibility to their tunes.

Walking on shoes?
author: Brandon Gillihan
Unbelievable beats, chops, riffs, slams, chimes, and rhythms make this album amazing. Not only does The Tickle make me giggle with anticipation for that next change of direction in their music, but IfihadahifI makes me reflect on my life and what it truly means. Without lyrics, you truly hear some beautiful rock and masterpieces that are bound to show up on the next big indie film. Tadpole Pete and his big stinky feet, with which the album starts, is a great way to begin an alternative space rock journey into the future of the album. Each and every sound is distinct in it's own way and no one measure is exactly the same. IfihadahifI is great for people with brilliant minds who like great music and who wear shoes! So my brilliant friends, I request of you to give this album a listen and you too will be wearing shoes.

Great listen, originality prevails, buy now !!
author: Willy B Morrison
I found this CD to be a great purchase. I'm into many similar bands, but this disc seems to stand out. Great recording / production with loads of originality. Wouldn't want compare this disk with other bands... You make up your own mind. But, one band that pops into my head is Tortoise. I'm only giving it a 4 start rating because I'm leaving my 5 star rating for the new Zoso album due out in 2006. I was a little dissapointed Crystal wasn't mentioned in the liner notes, but maybe I missed it... Definitely worth a listen. Peace

The Tickle has outdone themselves!
author: Ryan Powers
This is a great album from start to finish. And the finish just may be the climax of the whole thing. No need to flip to your favorite track. Just pop in the cd and enjoy the ride. The songflow and interludes are superb. Crystal only appears so often, but she is keeping quiet because the music speaks for itself. The Tickle is no longer 4 great musicians, but an animated musical entity.
