This is what you get when you put a Mystic Guitar Athlete, a Top Sitarist and a Tabla Maestro inside a recording studio in Varanasi INDIA at 126°F (without air-conditioning) and having a genius producer like Mattia Berti behind the mixer and taking care of post-production madness.
This CD presents a musical fusion between Indian classical music and an (almost) western acoustic guitar. Featuring: Luca Tihai at the "OM" Acoustic guitar, Deobrat Mishra at the Sitar and Mangala Prasad Mishra at the Tabla.
The album's cover picture was taken from a "Ghat" (series of steps leading down to a body of water) on the Ganges river in the city of Varanasi. The two small boats portray the two way of the Indian and the Western music sharing the same oceanic consciousness and inspiration. This is to say that music genres don't really exist... "I like to think of them just as colors floating together with trust and harmony on the river of becoming, without worrying about specific directions and time". Luca Tihai.
