Album Notes

Two guys who write songs and sing and play guitar.
Don't panic, it's organic.
Listen, rinse, repeat.

Tiki Tuesday plays live as an acoustic guitar duo. This album, however, is a "full-band" production with drums, bass, electrophonic guitars, keyboards, and Peruvian goat toenails. The tracks were lavishly recorded with state-of-the-art gizmology at Diamond Sky Studios in Santa Barbara.

Lyrical Snippets:

[What went wrong]
We all believed in the fairy tales
How the meek they shall inherit the earth
Brush your teeth and say your prayers
Don’t question what it's really worth

[Shao-lin style]
poetry won’t buy you food
minivans will spoil the mood
democracy can’t make you free
free the way you’re supposed to be

[Funbar]
Pure fun lies precisely between death and jail
It's not weak and frail
it's abrupt like a slap in the face

[Yuppies and swine]
The man wants to put me in pictures
The man wants to make me a star
I’m gonna shake my fat ass I’m gonna play my guitar
I came for the fame you see I came for the money
Big breasted blondes the milk and the honey

[Ejido]
Remember Playas Bonitas
warm sand beneath us
I wont forget the things you told me there

I love the new CD! You guys are so talented...if you ever want a gig in San Diego just let us know. We're friends with the owner of The Local (www.thelocalsandiego.com) and it would be the perfect venue! I could be like your "San Diego Gig Master". Keep on truckin'...

Your CD sounds great, too bad you are so far away. I'd love to hear you in person. You need to play in Hermosa. If you ever do you need to bring that Topavista guy, because I'd really like to see him!
