Album Notes

This is the New York Connection! Every year for the past six years this talented group of guys and girls get together in Sun Valley Idaho to create their own mix of original and cover tunes to bring the locals to their dancing partying feet!

Last year Craig Dreyer had the great idea of getting the band together before the big spring show in March and record a CD for the people who have been supporting us all these years. This is the product of our getting together for a day and recording a party record for the peeps.

It includes seven original compositions and two covers. We had a blast recording this CD live at Craig Dreyer’s studio, Mighty Toad, in Pawling, NY. Everybody sings and the energy was delightful. The root of this band is the “Love Trio” consisting of Mike Merritt on bass, James Wormworth on Drums and Paul Tillotson on Fender Rhodes. Together this rhythm section creates the grooves for the rest of the band to ride on.

This CD features Craig Dreyer on sax and vocals, Pete Francis on guitar and vocals, Brooke Lundy on vocals and Jake Stigers on vocals.
