Girl has band. Boy has band.
Girl’s band has some members of boy’s band.
Boy plays show. Girl comes to show.
Boy meets girl.
Girl takes band from boy and goes on a world tour.
In the end, boy gets girl and they start a new band: Tim & Adam!
Tim & Adam is an indie pop duo from South Florida, made up of a girl named Tim and a boy named Adam. Tim Yehezkely, of critically acclaimed The Postmarks, and Adam Rosenberg from Whirlaway, I Am Stereo, and Hello Human, engaged their love of music and set off on a sonic adventure. Tim & Adam blend elements of experimental dream rock and psychedelic space pop with playful melodies and interlacing guy/girl vocals.
Tim & Adam‘s eponymous debut album was conceived on an early ‘70s Lowery organ they found at a thrift store. As layers of acoustic and analog instruments began to build, a sound was born, a tone set, with songs exploring themes such as love, metamorphosis and eternity. All tracks were written and recorded by Tim & Adam at home, then mixed by Darrell Thorp (Radiohead, Beck, Air) and mastered by Bob Weston (Mission of Burma, Sebadoh, Fiery Furnaces).
Tim & Adam’s curious, magnetic sound is a fresh imagining of pop music.
