Its rich and sturdy beat and husky yet bright tones will step up the pace of your day … or night … When you cruise down “Smooth Avenue”, you’ll relish the shiny, silky trumpet tonality that resonates throughout this collection. It will ease you right into “Funkafize” with its bold, blazing vitality and dynamic array of horns. “Disappeared” is a majestic musical event, like rain falling and washing the earth clean, more of the Renewal that permeates this performance. The quickest way to Smooth is through “Groove Alley”. When you glide through this lustrous, rhythmic passageway, you’ll want to stop by and party at “Mr. Watson’s House”. You will really dig his pad. You’ll want to stay awhile. Then, take a cruise down through the funky and smooth “Jazzy Heights” neighborhood. From there you will have an exquisite view of trumpet articulation and inflection that continues right on down “Cool Blvd”, lined with colorful tones and rich pitches. From there, you can’t help but think about “Goin’ Downtown”, an electric, lively place to hang out any time. The luxurious “Last Dance” won’t really be your last. You’ll be Renewed. You’ll want to go back to the first track and begin your journey all over again.
