About Us:
As the phrase "time and tide" can evoke images of constant change and transformation, the music of the Boston based band, TIME AND TIDE, is a melodic and rhythmic representation of change. As the former SEASON'S END, the band crafted its blend of melodic and rhythmically diverse, progressive rock through ten years of recording and performing. The 1995 EP Voiceless and 1995 release Circle The Sun showcased the bands ability to weave mood and imagery within an instrumental framework while two subsequent vocal releases, the 1995 EP Gray Dreams and 1996 EP Reasons, demonstrated their evolving maturity as song writers. Evolved and reborn as TIME AND TIDE, vocalist and guitarist, Scott Bedard, bassist, Sean Blair, drummer, Stephen Glowacki, and keyboardist, Steve O'Donnell have focused their collective experiences to create their most ambitious work to date, THE WATER'S EDGE. Released in August of 2004, the new album draws the listener into a complex journey through thought and raw emotion. With the melodic and introspective themes in All, Fortress and Gemini, the thought provoking observations of Time Away and Media, and the epic grandeur of songs like Wasteland and Pilot, THE WATER'S EGDE builds upon the foundation previously laid while pointing TIME AND TIDE directly into the future.

Progressive Rock At Its Best!
author: James
Time and Tide's "The Water's Edge" is a great piece of work! I can close my eyes and vision movie-like scenes while the music and lyrics narrate its entirety! I cannot say that many releases can do that for me! I love the tightness of the musicianship and the lyrics are awesome. I love progressive rock and these guys deliver!

...one of this year's most engaging rock offerings.

On their new album The water's edge, the quartet calling themselves Time and Tide have a theatrical bent to their performance much like Emerson lake and palmer and early
Yes. Singer-guitarist Scott Bedard, bassist Sean Blair, drummer Stephan Glowacki and keyboardist Steve O'Donnell design soaring compositions complete with operatic vocals, whirring keyboards, stirring guitar lines and huge menacing rhythms courtesy of Glowacki and Blair. Fashioned more like a rock opera, The waters Edge is a concise body of work that pays homage to the bounty's and perils of the sea. Well recorded and performed, The Waters Edge is one of this year's most engaging rock offerings. ~METRONOME MAGAZINE
