Singing and writing songs together for quit some time, their lyrics pertain to life experiences. The touching & meaningful lyrics of My Young Son, a song influence by the passing of their Dad, advice he gave, as well as advice to pass on to their own children.
Coming from an Irish family of five kids, you better have a sense or humor and they keep that in their music as well.
In fact, Lee sang the song Lucky Man to his wife at their wedding reception. The lyrics sarcastically but humorously describes her fine characteristics. He thinks most men will relate!
Relationship troubles has definitely been an “issue” for both of them through the years relaying those feelings with the fun loving lyrics on My Trick to a serious side on In My Eyes..
While growing up in the Southwest side of Chicago, they were influenced by the music their parents listen to, George Jones, Patsy Cline and all the classics. Today they believe their music reflects their current favorites like Shania Twain, George Straight & John Melloncamp. While Chicago may not be a southern city, it has one of the biggest country fan base in the US.
There is no doubt about this team; their personalities shine through on every song they write!
