This Live Tim Jordan Band CD was made as a tribute to our Son, Tommy John, who passed away in an auto accident in March of 2005 at the age of 19. On March 24, 2007, 2 years after his death, we had family and friends over for a house concert and get-together in Tommy John\'s honor. This CD documents the concert from that evening. Partial proceeds from these CD sales will go to charity and scholarship funds in Tommy John\'s name.

The Tim Jordan Band produces a slammin blend of rock and funk, full of groove-energy-movement. Tim grew up loving the classic rock guitar revolution of Clapton/Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and many others all the way through the jazz-rock and fusion pioneers, while at the same time having a deep love for the classic soul of Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, and James Brown. This CD contains songs by these 3 classic soul artists, plus songs by Dave Mason and the Stones. There are also 5 original tunes, including the title track \"Now You Are the Light\" which is dedicated to Tommy. The CD ends with a bonus studio track \"Summertime Love\", which sounds contemporary while evoking a deep sense of nostalgia.

All of the songs on this live CD are played with Tim\'s intense guitar/vocal attack and the incredible rhythm section fire and dexterity provided by Bassist Rick Prince and Drummer Andy Haley.
