Album Notes

Tim Manning is one of the UK's top Hammered Dulcimer makers. This is his 13th album but his first commercial release.
Many of the pieces on this recording feature Tim playing a Hammered Dulcimer with his fingers rather then the traditional Hammers for which the instrument is known, the effect of this is to make the instrument more gentle and graceful sounding.
Originally recorded as support music for a yoga instruction DVD by Noelle Burville each track has been remixed for a more prominent feel.
