REVIEWS

Real accessible jazz by extremely talented musicans.
author: Kevin Cook (Coyote Dream Records)
Excellent record. Not background elevator music and yet not abstract distracting music. This is music that doesn't forget it's roots in the dance. This group swings! This is a very tight trio in the spirit of The Oscar Peterson Trio. Phenomenal technique and tasteful playing throughout the ensemble. Extra gems are the addition of steel drums in the jazz setting (Caught Leon Steelin') and an interesting jazz interpretation of Beethoven (Fur Elise). Interesting renditions of "Three Blind Mice" and "Linus And Lucy". This album is serious jazz but has a sense of humor. Folks, buy this CD.
