Album Notes
Tim McDonald currently resides in Nashville, Tn. He has performed and recorded with the Who's Who of Jazz music. Classically trained Tim embarked on a musical journey that is ligned with streets of beautiful melodies and rises in the air to soaring jazz improvisations. Tim is now collaborating and writing with Jazz legend Roy Vogt, Bass instructor at Belmont University. Roy studied with Jaco Pastorius and is the first person to receive a performance degree in electric bass guitar. Also part of Tim's trio is Jazz legend Chester Thompson who's resume is too much to list. He is the original drummer from the band Weather Report and is now performing along side Phil Collins and the band Genesis.
