Album Notes

On Timothy Hill’s third and most recent album of all original songs, his outstanding vocals and guitar are accompanied by fellow guitarists Chris Cunningham and Jason Crigler. Cunningham has recorded with Katell Keineg, Susan McKeown and Omar Faruk Tekbilek. Crigler can be heard on albums by Linda Thompson, Teddy Thompson and Goats In Trees. The album was recorded in a 100 year old church in West Hurley, NY., a splendid setting for Hill’s otherwordly overtone singing, which he has perfected over many years singing with The Harmonic Choir. Guest artists include Michelle Kinney on cello, Steve Cardenas on guitar, and Doug Weiss on bass. Produced by Joel Blustein.

Spirit's Body is truly soul renewing. The songs are written to the heart and the spirit, reminding us of the pulse of nature running through us all. The use of harmonic vocals is thrilling and beautiful. Listening to Spirit's Body is like breathing the fresh air of a forest just after a cool rain. You'll remember what it's like to fall in love and breathe and live. You'll love this CD!
