Tim Smith is a session musician with a bluegrass and gospel background, and on this self-produced solo instrumental release he presents straightforward arrangements of such familiar hymns as " Sweet Hour Of Prayer", "Just As I Am", "Blessed Assurance", "Ode To Joy", and several others that will often have you humming along.

His bittersweet intonation, melodic sensibility, and heartfelt presentation make these pieces come across as a gift and a source of comfortable companionship, occasionally causing the hairs on the back of your neck to stand up in transcendence.
