Album Notes

From Review

"Giving up the Ghost", Tim Wray’s first solo album is an ambient lush recording with an open desert-sky feel. Alex Wells writing in the mountain times describes the sound as being "like the soundtrack from an early Clint Eastwood Western, on Quaaludes". Tim Wray’s soulful vocals and introspective lyrics permeate this dark mood feel recording. In an industry where everything seems already to have been done Wray proves there are at least a few hidden oceans left undiscovered. As singer songwriter and guitarist for the popular band Fat Paw Wray has opened for such renowned acts as Widespread Panic, Rat Dog (former members of the Grateful Dead), and String Cheese Incident. His music is also featured in the Discovery Channels Outward Bound Series, MTV Home Videos, and several nationally syndicated ski and mountain bike films. Released by Song Haus Music New York, NY.
