"Thought provoking", "captivating", and "charismatic" are just a few of the words used to describe the music and live performance of pop/rock/folk sensation Tina Carson. Influenced by innovators like Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin, Ani DiFranco, Jonatha Brooke, and Bruce Cockburn, this Arizona native knew early on that she was destined to play, write, and perform.
Trained as a classical guitarist at the age of ten, Tina was already working on adapting her classical technique into pop music. When she switched to standard steel string guitar three years later, her true personal style began to flourish as did her skill for songwriting and her flare for live performance. Tina wraps her powerful, yet tender vocal chords around her smart, insightful compositions, and proves there's always room for a "woman with a guitar".
After moving to Tucson, Arizona Tina formed a band to back her and spent the next seven years performing for a variety of audiences, traveling through out the state and beyond. Her high energy stage show and guitar playing prowess soon led her and her music to Los Angeles, where she formed her current band. Tina is presently taking the L.A. & O.C. scene by storm with her passionate performances.
