Born and raised on the banks of the Ohio, Tina Collins has hiked the whole chain of the Appalachian Mountains and she sings the song-stories of those hills. Her songwriting echoes bluegrass and old-time melodies that have been sung by many women before her. Strong singing and honey-sweet harmonies take the listener on a journey through Appalachia and into the Sangre de Cristo region of the southern Rockies. Tina's debut album, Journey Onward, includes guest performances by fellow family songstress Jenny Bird, Over Under Yonder ladies Ash and Rama Cheromaya, and rebel cellist Melissa Hyman. Let your ears be graced by hammered dulcimer, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, washboard, cello, ukulele, accordian, toy piano and guitar.
