This Moore Is Better
author: PEZ
Tina Moore's CD is the perfect confection for cooking, chatting, coquettish flirtation, or checking out. I've had it on in the background, the foreground, and in the car. The songs aren't new but the style and the phrasing are refreshing. If you like the titles or are intrigued with the samples you've downloaded, you won't be disappointed. This isn't lounge, it isn't jazz, it isn't even pop. I'd say "easy listening" but that conjures up too many images of Barcaloungers and slippers when this CD conjures up a positive vibe( with or without cocktails) and makes you want to throw a knowing glance at that someone special and for the two of you to, ever so closely and with stars in your eyes, punish the parquet. That said, you'll probably wanna sit out and weep for poor 'ol Billy Joe and James Taylor's Fire and Rain as Moore works her finery on 'em.
