Album Notes

Steeped in traditional jazz sweetened with adventursome group improvisations. This album was born out of my move from Seattle to New York and the music is a direct reflection of that journey. This is an Album, not just a collection of songs and if listened to in full will take you on a journey. The pieces range from hard driving technically challenging motion with interludes of great clarity to chaos and back home again. You will discover Swing, Samba, Avant Garde, Modal jazz and spontaneous soundscapes of creativity (found in the Improvisations). Rounded out with soulful ballads this recording brings you 90% original tunes and 100% organic music. (We recorded one cover one song, thank you Ewan MacColl). I hope you enjoy having this Album in your library of music.

About the making of this Ablum. It was all Tahoma's Idea. I had been composing a lot of tunes at the same time he became involved in working at a recording studio. He suggested that I make an album with my newly formed Trio and he would produce it. And so it was. Thank you Tahoma.
