Eluriel "Tinker" Barfield, known for his electrifying bass interpretations in the world of funk and R & B, has finished his first solo CD --"It Is What It Is!"-- with a stellar roster of musicians and singers including : Alfa Anderson, Luci Martin and Norma Jean Wright formerly of CHIC; Grammy Award Winner Lisa Fischer; Jazz Artist and former Luther Vandross musical director, Nat Adderley, Jr.; Keyboardist from Stuff, Jimmy Smith; Latin Jazz Percussionist Steve Kroon and other notable musicians Pete Cannorozzi, Bernard "Pocket" Davis, Val "Feel the Music" Ghent, Dave Chun, Matty Amendola, Rick "Krispy" Kriska and gifted singers Keith Fluitt, Clayton Bryant, LaJuan Carter-Dent, Michelle Cobbs-Hardy, Lebab "Linda" Fallin, Eric O'Neal and Val Ghent. "This musical journey has been awesome and it's about time, so I've been told! The songs on this compilation are very near and dear to my heart, and show how I feel about LOVE. Everywhere I go and everything I do, there's "Butt in Your Face", but "I Only Think of You" because we found "Love @ the Juke Joint" when you sang "The Song That Captures My Heart".
