This San Francisco Bay Area based band was formed in 1993 by singer/songwriter Andy Zamenes and bassist Michael Tingen. Tinman has performed primarily in Northern California, extensively in San Francisco. Tracks from their first CD entitled Beast received air play on SF Bay Area local/college radio stations. The music of the self-titled CD "Tinman" released in 2000, is reaching an increasing number of people via the internet on CD Baby and garageband.com

The song "Princess" has been in the Top 100 in it's genre for two years running, peeking at number 20 on the garageband.com charts.
