ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Sweet vocal-group harmony rooted in the 1950s and ‘60s traditions, Tint of Darkness was based in the San Francisco East Bay when the quintet recorded this LP of sweet vocal harmony and disco-funk in the early 1980s for the small SOB label. Silk & Satin, comprised of William Wigfall (formerly of the Lyrics) and Ben Hamilton, were also based in the Bay Area when they recorded the two songs here, covers of Jay Wiggins & Chi-Lites tunes, for the Hamilton label in 1984.
