Album Notes

Since their beginning in 1986 Colorado’s Tiny Barge and The Big Chill have excited and entertained audiences across the nation with their classic brand of Rocky Mountain Soul Music.

Over the years many of the band's memorable performances were recorded and are now presented here in this compilation of some of their all time favorites.

The Big Chill’s dance party thunders to life as the band pulls out some of their most frequently requested songs.

Here for the first time is “Everytime I See A Butterfly”, a Tiny Barge original that’s been covered by Gladys Knight and The Pips, Les McCann, Maxine Nightingale, Sandra Feva and others.

From the familiar old-school bass intro of “Higher And Higher” to the ultra-modern “SpitBone” sax-synth solo that finishes “Right To Sing The Blues”, this compilation is an expression of gratitude to the faithful, longtime Tiny Barge and The Big Chill fans and to welcome all of the new-comers.

It has been the thrill of a lifetime and a privilege to perform for so many wonderful listeners. This collection of memories is Tiny Barge and The Big Chill’s way of saying, “Thank You.”
