Album Notes

============
"Titofelix have even managed to conjure some of the charisma that many native-California bands bank on as commodity...This is not to say that Titofelix are just another pack of wannabes who are long on talent and short on originality. While it is true that just about anyone can follow the checklist and put out a pop song, the emotion and content that they bring separate them from the fold. "
- Herden Daza, APA Arts Online Magazine
=============

Hailed as titofelix’s breakthrough album, the follow-up to the band's debut album, “Faux Pas”, was no sophomore slump. “Character Flaw”, released in March 2004, proved to be a giant leap from the band’s previous effort. Fueled by the arrival of bassist PJ Sobremonte, titofelix brought their sound to a new level, a level matched only by the band’s live persona and backstage hi-jinks. And with production work handled by engineers Daryl “Donut Boy” Phenneger and “The Great” Paul Lapinski (Yellowcard, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), titofelix created a highly-polished punk pop success. Songs such as “Mixed Messages,” “Been Around The World,” “Import Racing Girl,” and “Character Flaw” became personal anthems for the band’s many listeners, and critics raved at the quality of the writing and recording. In addition, “Character Flaw” contained titofelix’s tribute to fellow Atlanta native, Usher – a cover of “Nice and Slow,” which remains one of the band’s most memorable songs to date.

"A Character Flaw" features both full-speed and laid-back songs. It hints an Incubus influence, taken into the next level. Better? I say the best! With hits like "Import Racing Girl", "Been Around The World" and "Uncomfortable", this band is on its way to commercial success! www.ASTiGmusic.com
