It's the TJR Christmas Card. The CD that is also a Card. This CD is designed like a christmas card. Open it up and it allows you to write your own personal Christmas Greeting to whomever you give it too. I features 9 holiday classics not just covered but re-envisioned as instrumentals by guitar virtuoso TJR. Rounding off the set is a brand new original holiday song (The only song on the album featuring vocals): The exuberant "Christmas In California", Which TJR describes as a Brian Wilson influenced song about Christmas in Sunny Southern California.

Timothy John Ramirez (TJR) has done battle with the Poltergeist of Christmas and has vanquished his foe and put it into a TJR POW camp. Yes TJR is employing the coerced labor of the Poltergeist of Christmas to craft succulent Holiday Music Morsels for Munching on while we Make Merry. I loved this set of tunes and I think you will as well. I particularly liked track "6-Angels We Have Heard On High." Also Check your ears to "4-Joy to the World," it gave me joy to hear. I plan to spin these tunes all December long and TJR will make a nice pairing with my Gary Hoey Christmas Album. So that gives you an idea of what this set is like. What is missing? Vocals (Just the last track "12-Christmas in California" has vocals and I want more!), and Little Drummer Boy. I Endorse this Album, and I hope the Bottled Poltergeist of Christmas will haunt you as it does me. Read more...
