ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Unknown Soldier Written by Tj Stevens & Co Written by Crystal Birdwell
Producer Sean Smith and Co Producer Jeremy Pommerening who both have worked with Billy Ray Cyrus and toured with him, This Project was Recorded in Nashville at Vince Gills Studio across from Belmont University, with one of Blues Greatest Lead Guitarist-Bobby Messano, Drums-Glenn Williams, Bass- Sean Smith, Fiddle- Ted Stevenson, Piano-Scott Saunders, This song changed my life and the lives of others, I cant tell you how many letters and Emails i received from Military Families {Unknown Soldiers} across the country in support of their Son or Daughter or Father or Mother ,Brother or Sister Serving in our Armed Forces, Thank You Radio for playing it so much in 2002 @ WKDF Radio in Nashville Tn.

One Breath at a Time Produced by Jeremy Pommerening and Written by Tj Stevens and recorded in Nashville at the Historic RCA Studios where Many of the Great influences in country music recorded from the 1950s on up including Elvis Presley, Everly Brothers, Dolly Parton, George Jones, etc. what a true honer it was to be a part of this session, I had the opportunity to work with Beatles Great John Lennon's Guitarist “Gene Vincent” who also wrote “Schools out for the Summer” by Alice Cooper, and you can definitely hear that Beatles influence in this tune, Thanks Gene...We had a Great Time in Fellowship with All my Christian Brothers and Sisters Recording this Tune.

The Promise Produced by Jeremy Pommerening and Written by Tj Stevens and recorded in Nashville at Reba McEntire’s Studio “Starstruck Studios” on 17th Ave South Music Row....A Good Friend and Brother of mine Dale Allen who was Lynyrd Skynyrd road Manager for Many years hooked me up with Renown Drummer “Cactus Moser” who is Wynonna Judds husband to work on this project, Thank You Cactus for your Friendship and Talent, We were Blessed to have you with us... Everybody on this record was awesome, Lindsey Hicks Flew into Nashville the day before the session to do backup vocals, she was awesome!!

New Again Written by Brad Paisley and Sara Evans, It was so Perfect in Gods timing , a friend of mine in Virginia, Lindsey Entsminger asked to do a duet with me at Church one Sunday before Easter and she picked the song New Again, Wow she was Awesome, so we decided to record a unplugged version of it, in Front Royal Va @ National Tape and Disc Studios, I think we did this in 3 takes with Guitar and Vocal , she was a natural and definitely has the Talent to be something Great!!!! God Bless You Lindsey and Thanks so much for sharing your Talents with us....

In Closing Jeremy, Sean, Billy & Amy Garland and my Brother Dale Allen, thank you for your support and always believing in me through my Country Music and my Christian Music years, it was an awesome experience working with all of you... You have defined what true friends really are to me.... There are so many people to thank that I have not mentioned but you know who you are, and God does too.. Thank You and God Bless..

Comments: Touching song and video. I am a retired U.S. Marine. Now my spouse is deployed with the ARNG. Having been on both sides of a deployment I guess I am uniquely qualified to say that being the one left behind (The Unknown Soldier) is much more difficult than deploying. There are more women deployed in harms way now than ever before and there are plenty of husbands taking care of families at home....(trimmed)
