ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
First God Blessed and created a loving soul and then in 1965 a baby boy was born named Terry L. Gamble. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. At the tender age of 5 he knew that he was meant to be on the stage. His first love performance was on stage in a first grade talent show dancing to the Jackson 5's number 1 song at the time "Dancing Machine". It was at that moment after his performance and the standing ovation that he knew that the stage was where he belonged. After that show he would get involved with any and every talent show his school would give. Months later his older brother Thomas Gamble formed a dance group called The Gambles. The group consisted of 3 members; his brother Thomas, his sister Susan and Terry L. Gamble himself. They went on to win many 1st place awards, but one of the most memorable moments with the group was when they got a chance to perform for the world renown group Kool & The Gang. The group also performed that night on the same stage. The group also had the privilege of performing for the worlds ex heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali in upstate New York.
But even though things seemed to be going very good, slowly the group had to take a back seat to life and it's challenges, which forced the group to separate.
He went on to perform solo for a while performing in a play called Nature Speaks Nature made for Channel 13, a national television station. He also performed with a Michael Jackson impersonator in a nightclub called Brown Sugars located in New York City. While performing he developed his dancing ability which in turn made him realize that he had a great love for music. On his own he developed his music ability which in turn made him realize that he had a natural ability to find notes and cords very quickly and easily. He started to write and compose music and songs and worked on his voice through school choirs and home practices. Wanting to create music on a higher level he realized that there were many setbacks like for one lack of equipment. Many times he would find himself using pots and pans for percussion sounds and recording from an old cassette deck to an old eight-track recorder for his melodies using only his voice for sounds.
Later he formed a singing and rap group called The Hit Men, whom later performed in many local and out of town nightclubs. But slowly The Hit Men also departed leaving him once again a soloist, seeking to pursue his dream of being an artist.
He then decided to form his own record label called Mr. TLG Records & Mr. TLG Publishing and released his first single titled Step Into My Room which made a lot of noise locally and also got quite a bit of press. During the record release he became part of a production company called Stings Of Pearl Productions, in which he wrote and produced tracks for a few very talented artist including singers and rappers. Throughout this time he also found time to write a bit of poetry and by the blessings of God he was able to get two of them published, one of them is featured in a book titled Blush Of Morning. The other poem is called What Love Means. These are a few of the many projects he has completed. Today, he continues to perform live and produce material that promises to be worthy of being called great work. And with all of his most recent work he hopes for whom so ever hears or reads it they will get something out of it that will help them through the rest of their lives.
