Album Notes

Tom Marshall, the writer for Phish, embarks on a non-Phish project.

Using writers and performers from Amfibian, The Saras, Rana and elsewhere, "Amfibian Tales" is a collaborative effort through and through.

Tom's lyrics rest on a lush, guitar-band bed, with Cottone and Kohut providing the solid rhythmic pocket on most of the 16 songs.

Despite the personnel changing slightly from song to song, there is a unifying sound, perhaps created by the cozy atmosphere of Tom's New Jersey farm studio where the disk was recorded.

REVIEWS

As a musician, this album makes me want to stop playing
author: Aaron Lewinter
I like what you have done with the work. As a musician myself, i find it hard to find people that are as good as me at my age. I am 15 right now and I have been creating music just like this for two years and have been playing guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard for over 5 years. I admire the solo ideas and your lyrical contribution to the album. I also see you jam with many people to create ideas for songs then pull it together make it tight for an album ready song. this album has a solid voice for its expression and should be heard more often. I have heard of you from the band phish just like many other people. well, thankyou very much for making this album.
