The Marvelous Musical Martins, Martha and Doug: singers, instrumentalists, storytellers and bell ringers extraordinare, are nationally known for their Bells Around The World and Freedom BellsConnection programs. Recently performing for the International Symposium/National Seminar in Orlando they have captivated audiences at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Recital Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Plaza Hotel, Tavern -On-The-Green, Caesars and the Showboat in Atlantic City and also on cruise ships, and at five-star resorts and clubs throughout the United States. They have sung major roles in New York City and regional opera companies, have delighted audiences at the Strong Museum in Rochester, NY and the Bardavon 1869 Opera House and Mid-Hudson Children`s Museum in Poughkeepsie, NY. Their programs have fascinated audiences throughout the country in colleges, schools and libraries, as well as for corporations including City Bank, Pepsico, and IBM. Their inspirational performance of selections from “Let Freedom Ring” garnered them an invitation from the United Nations to perform for the Japanese Peace Bell/ Earth Day Celebration, and recently they were guest artists at the 19th International Carillon Festival and 75th Anniversary of the Historical Bok (Bell) Tower and Gardens in Lake Wales, FL., near Orlando. The Martin’s have also appeared at Summer of Music on the Hudson at Lyndhurst, Summerfest Milwaukee and the Atlantic Region of the National Music Therapists Association. In September and October they usually perform their Italian & Oktoberfest programs in the Pocono & Catskill Mountains.
