Beyond inspiring

I heard Tamara speak at the First Existentialist Congregation in Atlanta. She blew us away with "Genesis 2000 won." And this woman loves words. She taught me the definition of "goddess," and "prodigal."
Her perspective is so sane, so thoughtful, and so well stated that we left both enlightened about some nasty issues of injustice -- and feeling that we could look at it and work towards fighting it as a labor of love that will contribute to framing the issues for the world that emerges as we cast off the sorry state of our inequitable societies and made a better one for our decscdents for the next few thousand years.

Ms. Shaw's poetry moves you at the most basic levels. She reaches into your soul and spirit and finds the rhythm of life with her words and her intonations. Her poetry is very visual and moving, very sensual. I find myself caught up in the rhythms and opening myself to the words. I'm looking for more.
