Album Notes

The New Snot Nosed Bastids (currently known as FullerJam, google it!) started with a bunch of seedling songs that lay sleeping in the baking mud, or maybe that's baking in the sleeping mud. I'm not sure but either way they soon sprouted and eventually blossomed in a recording studio. This was a problem because the studio people didn't appreciate all that mud.

Soon the small garden of songs grew into a dense, living jungle of sound. It had become, infact, a complete living breathing musical ecosystem. Of course the rent went up, do you know what it costs to support an ecosystem today??? Believe me, you don't want to know. Eventually persistance paid off...

The sound of the Bastids is the sound of the new psychedelic americana, an arcane ragtime rhythm plucked from the original cornshuckers ball and set in the contemporary tinpan alley framework of the modern urban dystopian vision. What the hell does this all mean??? It doesn't matter, what matters is the music here is fun. So take a listen, let the world go by for a little while and pass the cornchips to help me wash down my beer.
