Album Notes

This album was released on Sound System Records in Australia by The Porkers, ska punk band, who had multiple releases on Moon Ska Records during the mid 1990s. This is a greatest hits release and showcases many of their (The Toasters) biggest songs from Skaboom!, Thrill Me Up, This Gun For Hire, New York Fever, Dub 56, Hard Band For Dead and D.L.T.B.G.Y.D.

There is a special version of "History Book" on this release that is rarely found else where. This is the NON-toasting version, where Bucket sings through the toasting part with his own lyrics!

The Toasters are the longest running US ska band, since 1981, no other band has stayed around this long and continued non stop! in the ska genre. They have also been the leaders in exposing the world to new ska acts over the years, through the creation of Moon Ska Records 1983-2000 (r.i.p) and now with Megalith Records 2002-Present!
