Album Notes

Tobyn Clark and the Tender Faeries was founded in San Diego, California in the birth of Summer, 2007. Tobyn Clark had most recently released a 7" record on the UUAR label under the pseudonym of "O Spirits." Previously, had been a member of the band "Business Lady," an art-rock band that toured extensively, had a number of vinyl releases, and whose finale, posthumous release was on the acclaimed Load Records label.
With the break-up of Business Lady, TC sought to get back to the basics and a sound more reminiscent of his record collection. The songs that issued forth from this persuit came of themselves and landed happily in the broad genre of country. To fill out the sound, veterans of the long-time San Diego country band "Bartender's Bible" where enlisted. Members Mathew Parker on the bass and Richard "T Bone" Larson on the drums providing the solid-country swing back bone while newbies Anna Dowell and Kathy Herrick provided the angelic back up vocals that elevate.
As of 2009, Tobyn Clark has relocated to the beautiful San Francisco and is currently playing solo locally, hunting for a new combo to transfigure the new album mapping the beauty of city life in a swoon...
