Album Notes

Todd aspires to search out the depths of a God who is full of beauty and mystery. His latest CD, Understanding, is an invitation into the passionate heart of God. These songs were written out of an intimate, sometimes difficult journey with God and offered up in hopes to spur on anyone who hears them. The epic song, “Breathing New Life”, was written in theme with Song of Solomon and also with a movie in mind…about a certain lion in a magical world through a wardrobe door. “Heart Song”, and, “Solitude”, both carry the longing of the human heart for deep fellowship with a loving Creator. In the title track, “Understanding”, the pop/rock style is the backdrop of a call for open eyes and ears. Todd’s goal in this album is to inspire stepping out of stagnant water and going high. He’s certainly achieved that here.
