It took us about 10 months to complete this CD of 11 tracks...I used a Roland VS-1680, recording in my living room and in Brian Taylor's basement.
We had a lot of fun talking through songs and thinking about what the music conveyed emotionally.
We are very proud that the CD is eclectic...could be radio formatted in either adult alternative, or rock.
Every track is different and unique in rhythm feel, arranging, lyrics and overall mood.
At the same time though, there is a unifying thread of artistic voice that runs through all the tracks.
The main lyric theme centers around freedom, savoring these current moments of being alive and looking for ways to learn from all that has gone on recently and in the past.
There is homage to all the ancestors who lead up to my birth in "River Of My Heart" and there are two tracks about my love relationships: "Seek & Hide", "Time Just Flies Away".
Al Pavone wrote a song for his daughter called "Allory's Lullaby".
The CD ends with two versions of "Amazing Grace" that are very soulful, gospel, and bluesy.
We hope you listen to our efforts but mostly we hope we engage you and warm your heart with our music.
