Album Notes

This CD included fourteen fun and thoughtful songs for pre-school and elementary aged children. Each song talks about how each one of us can becomepeacemakers. Songs about anger management, conflict resolution, and being kind and loving to each other. A variety of young children assisted Todd in writing five of the songs that described their vision for peace, friendship and getting along. Their voices can be heard singing along with Todd on four of those songs, adding an energy that is fun and inspiring.

Todd states, "In a time that is new and crucial, I think we need to arm our children with the knowledge that they have the capacity to act as peacemakers in their own communities....we can validate what they already intuitively know, that peace, love and kindness reflect who they are."

It was Mahatma Gandhi who said, " The very first step in non-violence is that we cultivate in our daily life, as between ourselves, truthfulness, humility, tolerance, loving kindness. Non-violence is an unchangeable creed. It has to be pursued in the face of violence raging around you. The path of true non-violence requires much
more courage than violence..."

Todd has written and recorded two other children's CD's; "I Can Talk With God," and "Sing Alongs and Lullabies." He also has three adult CD's to his credit.
Todd states, " I believe that music has an incredible capacity to comfort, teach, and heal....I hope all the music that I create strives to achieve those outcomes..."
