Album Notes

Storyteller Tomáseen Foley was born into a large family on a small farm in the remote parish of Teampall an Ghleanntáin, Co. Limerick, in the West of Ireland. His stories are of that time and place, full of its language, character and occurrences.

Drawing from that rich treasury of Ireland's cultural heritage, "Parcel from America" is the story at the heart of Tomáseen Foley’s nationally-touring show, "A Celtic Christmas", and the hit musical "Parcel from America: An Irish Christmas Musical".

"Parcel From America is a basketful of laughter, tears and everything in between that makes life - - even a difficult one - -worth living. It’s the perfect Christmas
present from a simpler Christmas past.”
Richard Moeschl, Medford Mail Tribune, Medford, OR

“In the tradition of the great Irish storytellers...
Tomáseen Foley is a master of the Irish narrative and a keeper of the flame for a priceless piece of Irish culture.”
Tom Horan, Rego Irish Records
