Album Notes

***************
PLEASE NOTE: The songs in this album are the same as in the older version of this cd entitled, "Autumn Dancing" by tom tanzi, also on CD Baby and the internet. Both 0ffer downloads of these same tunes..., only the ARTWORK and order of tunes is different. I like this cover because I offer large , signed prints of the artwork at the "www.circleblue.net" page.

I created the first Artists Co-Op online. Does anyone remember "Nobody In Particular"? Many people sent cassettes to me..., wow. This is how it evolved, all this online stuff...,I think it is all amazing if not overwhelming, oh well, it's fun to check out YOUR samples too.

Just another guy from a musical family who knew many years ago that ALL this cyber-media thingy would be available so, I had a product ready, one from the heart of me. I think it is for those who are in the Autumn (leaving Summer) of life and need something totally different. It's completely original and performed on a Roland D-20 keyboard (all the many drums, too) every bit is played on the keyboard with the clean-up from a (late) friend's studio in Southern Oregon. I think I captured what I had hoped to by enhancing this ad lib material. I just had to lay this down and get it out cuz I got it from my mom who got it from her mom.

I grew up in a dark redwood forest producing many moods and came out on the edge of the San Francisco Bay Area and the place was rock'n. Went to a 'Dead Concert' in Kezar Stadium in the Park and the next week climbed the mountain above the forest, was standing in the wind and heard musical chords blowin' by..., It was Led Zeppelin in the that Park...,30 miles away as the crow flies. Been turned on to sound and experimenting ever since! The other thing is how waves go inside us, thru around, reflect or absorbed, kinda kewl, ehh?

*****

Next CD is "cover tunes". I like other peoples' compositions and a good song is a GOOD song! Any genre or age, no matter how old I am/I mean how old it gets.

Sure do hope to compose again some day!

**** Check out the ****
"Environmental Drums Of Earth",

it is originally from my first album, MUSIC THINGY. "Go Gentle...," gets techno...., the first song is kinda dancin cheek-to-cheek. Oh, check 'em all out.

All cultures might enjoy this as well as all ages. I love all sorts of creative expression, but this is not mainstream. Ya kinda, gotta have GOOD Bass on yer system!

Please pass on the environmental thingy..., no air, no music

Excellent new age CD. Pick up a copy today!

“Time, Lapsed” by Tomas Nicholas is a CD full of great instrumentals and new age songs. This collection stands out because of the soothing tones used. The layers of stringed instruments backed by calming drum patterns make this record nothing short of relaxing and refreshing. Furthermore, this album exhibits some great creativity. One song that stands out in particular is “Your Forest, Poor Forest.” Its jungle-reminiscent tones and percussion arrangements, topped with beautiful sounds of birds chirping effectively conjure the image of a distant forest. This type of imagery follows throughout the entire collection. Moreover, the production of “Time, Lapsed” finds the perfect balance between free-flowing instrumental tones and orderly percussion arrangements. All in all, this CD is a must-hear for those who enjoy the soothing sounds of great instrumental compositions.
