ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tomates Fritos is a Rock en Espanol band based in Venezuela. The band started as an active band in 1996, their music is produced independently. Their debut album was Odyssey (1999) which produced two fan favorites songs: "Verde en el Espacio" and "Ciruelas".

“Hoy No,” “Perdí la Fe,” y “Sáquenme de Aquí” from the album Molly (2006) were the first songs to bring the band strong attention nationally and put them on the map of the Venezuelan Rock en Español Movement. Since then, Tours have become larger and longer. The band's fan base is expanding constantly and they have grown smart in the independent music industry. In 2010, the band released “Hombre Bala,” their third and most recent full-length album. The album was a break through for the band, as they explored the versatility in their music, combining beautiful, longing melodies with guitar driven walls of sound, and layered with interesting lyrics.

Singles off the album including “Perdóname", “Nadaré hasta llegar,” and “Mi Cura, Mi Enfermedad” remain in heavy rotation on Venezuelan radio stations, and have also received major internet radio play in other Latin American Countries.

In addition to working on new music and touring, the band remains committed to creating real music, music that cant be ignored.
