Album Notes

Tom Boyer is an accomplished guitarist who is well versed in fingerstyle. "Lights Out Guitar" is Tom's fourth CD and features his jazz rendentions of some popular cover tunes. Joining Tom are some great musicians. Steve Steinberg plays some very nice sax lines on several of the songs. Jim Soldi plays great bass, rhythm and some keyboard and acoustic leads on some songs. Jim played lead guitar for Johnny Cash and Ricky Skaggs in the 90's.
Sharon Whyte put the perfect keyboard and piano sounds onto each of the songs. Bob Sale keeps the backbone of the songs together with his drums and percussion.

Tom is primarily a fingerstylist and does mainly solo performances. This CD is a crossover of Tom's fingerstyling with smooth jazz sounds in a combo format. It is SURE to get great reviews!
