Album Notes

Born in South Dakota, Tom now lives in the Denver, Colorado area. Over the past eighteen years Tom has played multiple genres; Country, Blues, Classic Rock, Celtic and Fusion music. Music has been an integral part of his life since the age of ten when he started to play guitar. Tom also plays pedal steel guitar. Between the two instruments he has logged many hours playing bars, theater productions, and recording projects.

The recording sessions that resulted in “Inside-OUT” began about 2 years ago when Tom started working with bass player Josh Filley and drummer Mike Lepine. In search of new material the band assembled a play list with jazz standards like “Well You Needn’t” (Thelunious Monk) and “Bumpin on Sunset” (Wes Montgomery) and Acid-Jazz tunes by John Scofield, Count Basie, and Earl Klugh. Out of all this new music came the inspiration for Inside-OUT. The tunes on this project are very personal to Tom and he loved every minute of the creative process. He hopes listeners will enjoy the musical journey.
