This was a song that'd been lying around for years. It started out as my attempt at something that sounded Dave Matthews-ish. I came up with the verse riff about 9 years or so ago, when I was in this bullshit oldies band. It was one of those riffs that just stuck in my head. I knew I wanted to eventually turn it into a full song. It wound up being one of the last songs completed for the CD The Ripped Genes Presents…The Classroom Dragons – “Broken Wing” (© 2009 SandCastle Music).
