Album Notes
New solo album from Tom Courtney "Guysborough Train" released Feb 2013.

Tom Courtney has just finished recording his solo album Guysborough Train. The sound is fresh, unique and inspiring.

About The Record
The record is a collection of traditional songs as well as contemporary Irish, Canadian and American folk songs by some of my favorite songwriters, such as Guy Clark, Eric Bogle, Stan Rogers and others who have all had a profound impact on my life.

Many of the songs on the record are songs I’ve been living with for years, waiting for both the right time to record and more importantly, the right people to collaborate with. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Dave Mattacks, who has recorded and worked with everyone from Paul McCartney, Jethro Tull, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Richard Thompson and many others also with my friend and fellow Irishman, singer/songwriter/studio wizard, Mike Barry.

The record is truly a collaborative effort and was produced and arranged by Tom Courtney, Dave Mattacks and Mike Barry.

Special Thanks To:
Dave Mattacks, Mike Barry, Huck Bennert and all the musicians who contributed to this album for their hard work and support.

Thank you for been a part of this great musicial journey.
