TOM DRISCOLL is a freelance columnist, poet and performing singer/songwriter from Holliston, MA.
Tom released his debut full length studio recorded CD entitled "Guesses at Wisdom" in 2002.
The album features 14 original songs ranging from an a capella chant called "walls fall down" to songs like "the river knows" and "bold robber" arranged with an ensemble including harmony vocal, accordion, guitar, bass, violin and banjo.
Tom produced the recording together with Jef Scoville at Your House in Roslindale MA working with a number of well known and respected musicians from the Boston area folk scene as session players and background vocalists.
Tom's concert performances include solo acoustic features at Perks Coffeehouse in Norwood, Red Door Coffeehouse in Framingham, TCAN (Center for Arts in Natick) and the Medway Library Performing Arts Series. Tom has also played out with several full bands, including “Crack the Plaster” and “Breakfast at Joe’s”
Tom’s Broadcast Appearances include: "The Coffeehouse" WERS Boston/ Live Concert for WBRS, Brandeis University, and Radio/Broadcast Concert Opener for WICN Worcester Radio "Cafe Fantastique." Tom has performed as feature poet at the Hopkinton Cultural Arts Center Poetry Open Mic.
