Album Notes

This double CD was culled from hours of tapes submitted by the many folk stages Tom Dundee frequented in his 30+ years of making music. Though the recording quality varies from cut to cut, each chosen performance was steller and many include never before heard songs and stage patter.

This is a superb collection of Tom's best, including appearances by contemporary Mick Scott. We're listening to it over and over again. Many thanks to the gifted producers.

Wonderful (*)
author: Jean V
This is a great album for sure, and it's so sad that the world has lost Tom. I put an asterisk (*) because my favorite song, and the main reason I bought the cd set, "Dog," was somewhat ruined for me by the f-word being spoken right in the middle. I realize that's just Tom, but what a cute song it is (hopefully, on a different cd) without the cussing. Anyway, other than my asterisk, I do recommend this collection.

Goodbye Tom
author: Geff
I just learned of Tom's passing tonight while googling him. We were very good acquaintances in the 70's, I was a fan & he was always very kind to me. This is still sinking in. I'm really sad. He was truly a fine human being & great songwriter/performer. I'm sitting hear streaming his live set & crying. It's probably been 25 years since I last spoke with Tom, but these songs are really bringing back memories. I used to be a pro musician myself. I went through both rock & singer songwriter phases. Tom was almost certainly the #1 influence on my style of stage patter in my acoustic period. I also used to cover Delicate Balance & Don't Give Up On Me Now. Tom, you're missed. Oh & btw since this is supposed to be a review & not a blog, great set - BUY IT!! Tom was always at his best live.

Wonderful Listening
author: Ron P
This is a wonderful compilation of live shows over the years, and truly captures what it was like to be there and listen to Tom play and sing his poetry, from the silly to the sentimental. I miss hearing him in concert, and this is the closest you'll get! (By the way, CD Baby's pricing and service are tops!)
