The music is warm with a lot of feeling. A lot of melody and harmony. Some fun songs, some meaningful. Think Loggins and Messina, Jim Croce, The Eagles, Phil Ochs. Acoustic guitar, harmonica, background vocals, some keyboards, some bass and percussion.

Hi,
My name is Tom Foti and I live in New York City. For years I performed as lead singer/songwriter/rhythm-guitarist for a group named The Band Next Door. The Band Next Door also has 2 CD's available on CDBaby.com. The music was fun, catchy pop.
This is my first Solo CD, and while several of the songs are fun, pop songs, there are also some tracks that provide a more meaningful and thoughtful look at the things happening in the world around us.
Some tips:
#1, Baby Think Again, is straight ahead melodic pop that might remind you of the Eagles.
If you like Loggins and Messina or Jimmy Buffet, you might enjoy #2, Tortola.
If you're a Jim Croce fan, try #3, And I Learn How To Love.
#6, Amnesty, and #7, Response from Dear John, offer more of a political message, and may bring to mind Phil Ochs or Bob Dylan.
#11, Don't You Know, has a fun, party feeling along the lines of Van Morrison or Sam Cooke.
