Great!

Tom Goss is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. And if he continues to put out music like this, he most definitely will be. The title song is amazing, an anthem to the human spirit, well-written and sung. The King Of Something Right is about as sweet as you want to hear. Truly, every song is worth listening to, and the EP worth owning.
I have been lucky enough to see Tom live a couple of times, and if you haven't, you should soon. And when you do, be sure to pick up a CD or two.

A Solid Follow-Up

Okay...so I know Tom and it's kind of hard for me to review him because I can beat him at Wii...but he knows I'm one of the most critical people when it comes to music and I think most of what I hear on the radio is pure crap.
But with RISE, Tom definitely is progressing nicely as an artist. The song writing here is crisp and his uptempo songs beg you to keep listening. And while the production values here showcase his voice well, nothing he's recorded ever comes close to seeing Tom live. Funny, charming, and truly humbled by an audience's adoring applause, Tom is pure entertainment when you see him. If you ever see him playing in your town, you'd be a fool to miss out on such a great time. Imagine seeing a real musician who can sing live and play well these days--what a rarity! (Sorry Hannah fans but that child ain't live and she ain't right either!) In all seriousness, Tom is a musician to watch and it's worth it to invest in RISE and also go get NAKED WITHOUT if you haven't purchased that. Keep up the wonderful work, Tom!
