Great CD! My kids ages 3 and 6 absolutely love Tom Knight! We own all of his CD's. Their favorites on this one are Wiggle Worm, Have You seen my egg and Welcome to our classroom. The songs are very catchy and are even nice for mom and dad to listen too! Tom is highly recommended!!!! Also check out his song Garbage Monster as this is my kids ultimate favorite song and his puppet show is great too!!!!!

  • Review from an 11-year old

I got this CD for my 11th birthday. When I listened to it the first time I liked it. My favorite song is the Shaker Egg because I like the chorus. Another song I really like is Wiggle Worm because I like the solo part. Tom Knight says, "Air Guitar" and I like to dance along. When I listen to the CD I can either clean my room or start dancing. Both are fun with this music. I think all kids would like it! I really like this CD a lot!

  • Wonderful music for the entire family!

Tom Knight has a way of writing and making music that is fun for kids, and fun for their parents. We have enjoyed his music for years, and are now enjoying his newest CD. As with all his other tapes and CD's, we HIGHLY recommend The Classroom Boogie. My kids listen to it every chance they get, and I find myself singing along, too. My daughter sings Have You Seen My Egg even when the music has stopped. Rockabilly Goats Gruff is very clever. Everybody Makes Mistakes is a great lesson. Peace in Twelve Languages is very sweet, and probably my favorite. Nice variety of songs, topics, musical styles, yet all are wonderful songs.

  • Tom Rocks!

We just got this CD last week and we are wearing it out. The entire family can't stop singing 'Wiggle Worm', we keep catching each other dancing around the house. It is becoming the family thing to guess which of the thousand Wiggle Worm dances we are doing. I also love Rockabilly Goats Gruff and Spin Spider. Just can't get enough! We have two girls ages 4 and 7, but I have to admit that my husband and I enjoy it just as much. Pretty rare to find kids music that the parents can listen to! I'm a school librarian as well as a parent, and there are tons of ways Tom's CD can be used for fun in the classroom. This makes me so grateful that there are musicians in the world who choose to share their gift with kids!

  • affirming, empowering, and kid-friendly
    author: School Library Review

Tom Knight has spent several years making music in the classroom with students, and his experience makes this title a worthy purchase. Using a variety of musical styles, Knight invites listeners to interact, either vocally or through dance and movement, in almost every song on this recording. The lyrics are affirming, empowering, and kid-friendly. His multi-lingual "Peace in Twelve Languages" is not only educational, it's thought-provoking. The calypso heat of "Everybody Makes Mistakes" blends with its lighthearted words, reminding children that "sometimes it happens, you mess up what you do, and then accidentally, you create something new." Knight provides the vocals, occasionally accompanied by a chorus of children or female harmony. Of the 15 songs, most are curriculum related, including songs about an earthquake, water, and creating blues music. A solid purchase for classroom use as well as general listening.--Kirsten Martindale, Buford Academy, GA School Library Review, Jan 2004
