ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Building on the successful blend of relaxing and invigorating tunes from his first release, "Pacific Tales", Tom Lunneberg's new collection of songs covers an ambitious range of acoustic guitar territory. Take a virtual trip with music inspired by the many moods of the ocean and exotic locations around the world. A great soundtrack while relaxing with friends--or if you just need a "mini vacation" during a busy day. So, pour the beverage of your choice, get comfortable, and get whisked away to a world of relaxation.

You'll love this Album! Listen to it!
This CD is too good not to sit down with, bump the volume up a notch, and take an hour-long voyage to its many ports of call. This is beautifully played fingerstyle guitar, so you can turn it down and it’ll function very well in the background, but TURN IT UP! Tom’s compositions are like little movies for your ears, evoking vivid images, moods, and attitude. Tom composes and plays in slack key tunings, which broadens the tonal-color palette of his guitars, and his playing deftly conveys whichever mood the tune requires, ranging from the mischievous “Tango Los Demonios” (inspired by his feline office mates), to the sparkling “Na`alehu,” the brooding and tumultuous “Andalusion,” and the wistful “Kona Aire.” As a fingerstyle guitar player, I have high standards for the guitar music I listen to. Melody of the Sea stands up to repeated listening at any volume. I love this album and highly recommend it!
